Today's episode features Dr. Dara Rampersad of BluePaz - an organization committed not only to teaching officers to work with people in crisis, but how to work through their own crisis. Dr. Dara has been instrumental in implementing Crisis Intervention Training (CIT) for agencies like Maui County and Kauai Police Department in Hawaii, as well as establishing a CIT program specific to hospital security staff. Dr. Dara's company, BluePaz, seeks to provide first responders with the tools to succeed in their 25+ year career through training and education.
