Agents Unknown - Cody Perron, USMC (ret.),State Dept DSS (ret.)
Wednesday Feb 23, 2022
Wednesday Feb 23, 2022
On today's episode, I was fortunate enough to speak with former United States Marine and former Diplomatic Security Service agent Cody Perron to discuss his work around the globe as a member of the law enforcement arm of the State Department, and his book "Agents Unknown". Cody's book paints a vivid portrait of life as a DSS agent. From running ops with local PDs in Houston, Texas, to wining and dining (and karaoke singing) top Vietnamese brass in Ho-Chih-Minh City, and being mortared in Iraq while then-Vice President Biden was on location, Cody's life has been full of adventure, intrigue, and high-level investigations. One such investigation involved the kidnapping and murder of Arizona native Kayla Mueller by ISIS. I could have spent hours talking with Cody, and I plan to have him back on the show in the future because I owe him a glass of bourbon.
Follow Cody on Instagram @offthex_inc, and find his website and store at www.codyperron.com. Keep your eyes out for a re-release of Cody's book with additional stories and updated information.

Cross-Pod with Bottom Dwellers Dive Shack and Ambrosia Terrebonne
Tuesday Feb 22, 2022
Tuesday Feb 22, 2022
A couple of weeks ago, Armando from Bottom Dwellers Dive Shack podcast hit me up and asked me to join him during an interview with Jack Lewis, perhaps better known by his nomme du guerre "Ambrosia Terrebonne". Jack is a Navy veteran, and earned his dolphins in the Silent Service - America's submarine fleet. Jack left the Navy and became a commercial diver, operating hundreds of feet beneath the surface of the ocean on massive projects where one mistake could cost money and lives. As Jack began to become disenchanted with commercial diving, he ran into a cop at a shooting course and jokingly asked the officer if his agency was hiring. The officer looked at Jack and said "we're aggressively hiring." Jack has served as a police officer ever since, and currently serves as a SWAT officer.
Jack is sponsored by Sons of Liberty Gun Works and Staccato, and had nothing but positive things to say about both companies.

You’re never out of the fight - Deputy Cat ”PewPewGoddess”
Wednesday Feb 16, 2022
Wednesday Feb 16, 2022
Good things come to those who wait. After working opposite schedules for more than a year, I was finally able to sit down with Cat AKA @pewpewgoddess to talk about her experiences as a woman in law enforcement, an FTO and how she has come back swinging after multiple injuries. From broken hands to a back injury that would have sidelined most people, Cat has refused to throw in the towel.
Our bourbon of the day was Eagle Rare 10yr, and it was delicious, as expected.
Cat will be back on the BlueLine Millennial podcast in the future to dive even further down the rabbit holes!
Find her on Instagram @pewpewgoddess and check out her sponsor @sofletehq for supplements, apparel, workout plans and much, much more.

Why is the bourbon gone?! Spoiler alert: we drank it all
Saturday Feb 12, 2022
Saturday Feb 12, 2022
Detention Officer Ursula came onto the show with my first return guest - Officer Kristen to talk about The Tactical Games where they came in first and third place, respectively, of the women's intermediate class. A score of less than 2% separated them.
Ursula gave both of us an education on what life was like for our DOs and COs, all while we drank an entire bottle of Smoke Wagon barrel proof bourbon. As expected, the night became increasingly entertaining!

Walking the razor’s edge with Toby Harnden
Friday Jan 28, 2022
Friday Jan 28, 2022
This interview should have lasted for five hours.
I had the privilege of speaking with author, journalist, and veteran Toby Harnden today about his life and experiences across the globe. After serving ten years in the Royal Navy, Toby went on to be a reporter covering terrorism, strife and insurgency in places such as Northern Ireland, Zimbabwe, Iraq, Afghanistan and Jerusalem. In his experiences, Toby often walked the razor's edge in his effort to gather information from all sides involved in a conflict.
Toby is also the author of Bandit Country, Dead Men Risen, and his newest book, First Casualty. First Casualty tells the story of the CIA's mission in the opening stages of the war in Afghanistan, which culminated in death of CIA operative Mike Spann at Qala-i-Jangi during a prisoner uprising.
I will absolutely have Toby back on the show, because it was evident after this interview that I had only scratched the surface of his knowledge and experience - and I didn't even get to offer him a glass of bourbon.

Wednesday Oct 27, 2021
Get in, loser. We're hunting Bonnie and Clyde.
This week's History Time covers famed Texas lawman Frank Hamer and his task of stopping Bonnie and Clyde. I talk about some of the differences from the film The Highwaymen and what actually went down.
I also talk for a bit about the #goodcopsgiveaway. I've been wanting to do a GAW since I started the podcast, and I decided there was no time like the present. Follow along on IG, or head over to the website for more information!

Mike The Cop and Chris Fisher
Friday Oct 15, 2021
Friday Oct 15, 2021
Last week, I was fortunate enough to have Mike the Cop and Chris Fisher in studio with me to talk about their careers, their new Ten7Project, and the massive impact they've made in terms of law enforcement and the use of social media. Many may not know that Chris was the original creator of Survive the Streets - A Page for Cops.
Of course, so many of us know Mike the Cop from the good old days of his short Vine Videos alongside Officer Daniels, Hookem and Bookem, and other good cops who helped create Humanize The Badge.
I hope you enjoy today's episode, and I look forward to bringing you, the listener, even more content in the future. Please follow along on Instagram @bluelinemillennial, and find Chris and Mike at @tacticalrelator and @mike_thecop, respectively.
Check out Ten7Project.com for more information on Chris and Mike's new venture.
Stay safe, and I'll see you on the road!

Officer Ashley Smith
Friday Oct 08, 2021
Friday Oct 08, 2021
After awkwardly losing internet connection for about forty seconds (thanks a lot, Century Link), I was finally able to interview Officer Ashley Smith about her experiences as a female officer and competitive body builder. Ashley had great advice for incoming female officers that you might not hear otherwise. Our time was short today, but don't worry, Ashley will be back on the Blue Line Millennial Podcast again in the future.
Visit her Instagram page @officerashleysmith and if you're in the body building game or just want some killer supplements, check out the company Ashley relies on, SteelFit USA!

The Lighter Side of Law Enforcement with Thin Blue Scribble
Sunday Sep 26, 2021
Sunday Sep 26, 2021
I am very thankful to have had the opportunity to speak with Liv, the creative genius behind Thin Blue Scribble and the first foreign officer I've had the chance to interview. Liv schooled me on how our Canadian brothers and sisters work, and talked to me about her comic strip, Thin Blue Scribble. Thin Blue Scribble is one more way that a good cop is trying to give a glimpse behind the badge. Liv's art packs plenty of humour (see that, I used "ou" like they do in Canada) along with more than a few instances of the stark reality of our chosen careers. I've been so US-centric on this show, that I never put much thought into policing in other countries. I am happy to see that cops in Canada have very similar experiences to us US cops. Should you ever find yourself in Canada, buy a cop a hot cup of coffee from Tim Horton's, swap patches, and let them know they've got the support of their teammates in America.
Support Liv by heading over to her Instagram page @thinbluescribble, and while you're at it, grab a mug featuring some of her art from the online shop!
